We typically work with clients within the following project budget ranges:
• 5-10k (Startups)
• 10-15k (Small businesses)
• 20k-25k (Medium sized businesses)
Let's get started in five easy steps:
1. Schedule a Discovery call here: Calendly.com/shakabaka or fill out our contact form.
2. After our call, we will create a scope of work document for you to review, revise and approve.
3. Once the scope of work is approved, a Shakabaka agent will send out a contract for you to review & e-sign.
4. Once the contract is reviewed & approved, we will send out an initial 50% invoice due to begin work.
5. Upon completion of the invoice, we will set-up communication channels and schedule our kick-off call.
You should prepare a scope of work or request for proposals (RFP) and submit it to us in order for our team to comprehend the deliverables of your new web project and how much money you should budget. Sending a sitemap of all the pages included in your project scope will be acceptable to begin with if it is a straightforward job. If you don't know where to begin with your scope of work, consider the steps below:
1. Send us a list of the pages you wish to have on your website (including a sitemap and information architecture). It doesn't have to be complete or in-depth. All we need is an idea.
2. Send us 2-3 websites that you adore and believe in some way, either aesthetically or functionally, to symbolize your vision for your new website.
3. Tell us if you need a logo & brand identity or if we’ll be working with your current brand assets.
4. If you already have the designs for your site completed (in Figma, Sketch, Etc) and now need the design developed out in Webflow, send us the designs to review and we can go from there.
6. If you believe that anything in your build could need additional development time, let us know. (For instance: Search, API Integrations, and Price Calculators)
All of this information will be incorporated by our team when they draft a proposal for the scope of work that we may review. We can have a follow-up call when you're prepared so that we can go over the SoW Proposal.
Before we begin, pay 50% for a new website, redesign, migration, or development. 50% when you're completely satisfied and we're prepared to give the project over. When adding to the scope of work on an ongoing project, payment is made in full up front. This aids in maintaining efficiency throughout a project.

The "Free" plan or the "Lite" plan are typically chosen by clients when signing up for a Webflow account. The higher end plans are intended for teams and agencies that are building up more than simply 1-2 website projects under their account. You must add a hosting plan after setting up an account plan, creating a Webflow website in your Dashboard, or having your project transferred to your account. The $36/month business plan, the top tier of hosting plans offered by Webflow, is what we generally advise clients to choose. An overview of prospective Webflow hosting and account plan pricing is provided below:
Account plans range from $0 to $35 per month
Hosting Plan: $12-36/month
E-commerce: $29-$212/month
We can visual create and finish jobs more quickly using Webflow, a professional-level front-end development tool & CMS that also enhances the quality of our code and the originality of our front-end designs. We've been using Webflow as part of our technology stack since 2015 to offer distinctive front-end designs, full-service development, and CMS-based solutions for motivating brands.
Webflow Designer: The Designer enables us to construct fully functional expert level websites, lite applications, landing pages, announcement flyers, prototypes, presentations, and more using your site's structure, design, content, interactions, animations, and custom code. Instead of writing code, you manipulate the HTML content graphically here by setting CSS properties, creating interactions, and manipulating the HTML text. Additionally, the Designer generates very clean, semantic code that is prepared for publishing to the web as you develop your website and organize your content. As a result, the Webflow Designer undergoes training just like any professional-grade tool (Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, etc)
Editor of Webflow: The Editor simply enables you to modify and manage material, as opposed to the Designer, where you can construct and design your website. The Editor provides you with a variety of tools to manage a published website's content, assets, and on-page SEO thanks to its straightforward, user-friendly interface. Additionally, you may invite your marketing team to manage the site with collaborator access without affecting the design.
We've been using Webflow as part of our tech stack to offer distinctive front-end designs, full-service development, and CMS-based solutions for inspiring brands since 2015, before our organization became an LLC. Along the way, we've discovered that ensuring client satisfaction requires a little more than simply exceptional design and development abilities. Successful projects require constant communication, complete transparency, tried-and-true procedures, and project management that prioritizes making money. As an organization, we want to make it as simple as we can for our customers to express their problems, receive advice, and put an excellent solution into practice.
We are proud of the job we do and aim to have a positive impact on any business or organization with which we deal. We are Hoosiers who place a high value on communication and project management.
The majority of design and development projects last 1-3 months. The size of the project will have a big impact on this. Looking to estimate the time needed for your project? Set up a discovery call so we can talk about your project.
We will be actively involved in the launch. We will launch the website for you and ensure that everything functions properly. We'll be there for you for 30 days following the launch. We are available to you for any oddities, problems, 404 redirects, or time-sensitive situations, free of charge and as part of the original project scope. We will onboard you to your new Webflow site within the first week after hand-off. A short training program made especially for you and your team will be delivered to you. Your new website will be simple for you to edit and expand! We will, of course, continue to be reachable by phone and email for urgent inquiries beyond 30 days, and you can purchase pre-paid "hour blocks" for consultation and ad hoc development projects. Anything longer than 40 hours and we will talk about a custom maintenance plan.
Although it's relatively easy for clients to handle content, copy, and assets on their own using the Webflow CMS (Editor), some clients will want additional development & Webflow build support. We let customers buy a pre-paid block of hours from us upfront to utilize anyway they see fit over the course of a year.
Any development, consultancy, or Webflow-related needs should be addressed during these hours. Design (figma, XD, Sketch) services are not included in our development support packages. As part of our end-to-end design & development contracts, design is normally done on a flat-rate basis solely.
Yes, we have a couple options here:
1. Keep the present design and URL/SEO structure and redesign the site in Webflow while doing so.
2. Create a fresh, Webflow-developed website by going through our extensive website redesign and development process.
3. By revamping your site within Webflow and then publishing those pages to your Wordpress site, you may maintain your present Wordpress CMS while utilizing Webflow. However, this might not function correctly in all use scenarios and might need for additional custom programming.
4. We can export pages from Webflow and apply custom development to create a liquid theme for Wordpress using the code.
A tool that can enables our organzation to create member-only websites, dashboards, web applications, intranets, and more for our clients.
You can, indeed! To properly provide you with a SoW proposal, we will require you to submit us the finished source files so that we can assess the complexity of the design, interactions, and content. Alternatively, if you want to rebuild your existing website using Webflow, provide us the domain of your existing website so we can check it out.
It's likely that Webflow can make your site substantially faster if you're not content with how quickly it now loads. Sometimes maintaining a site's lightning-fast delivery only requires condensing the site's content or switching CMSs, while other times we need to employ JS lazy load and other strategies.
It won't if done correctly. You may avoid any long-lasting negative impacts and take advantage of the SEO benefits of your redesign as long as the agency you're working with adheres to best practices to maintain your present URL structure and perform precise 301 redirects.
Webflow is one of the main tools in our tech stack but it isn’t the only one, we make sure to apply the right tools for the job, depending on the scope of work and solution needed. A typical project of ours, depending on the scope of the work, might include the following tools:
• Figma (UX Design, Brand ID)
• Adobe Illustrator (illustrations, logo)
• Adobe After Effects (Lottie JS animation design & development)
• Custom Code (TBD)
• Integromat or Zapier (automation)
• Webflow (front-end development & custom CMS)
• Monday (project management & tracking)
• Campaign Monitor or Active Campaign (email integration)
• Stripe or Paypal (Payment processor for eccommere)
• Social Media Connections (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Although hosting on Webflow is not required, we strongly advise it for practically all marketing website initiatives. We are pleased to report that more than 90% of our clients host their marketing websites with Webflow and use the Webflow content management system. For high-end marketing websites that require a highly customized, scalable, and user-friendly CMS, it makes perfect sense. We could still utilize Webflow to create the front-end semantic code and export it for further migration to the platform of choice if you're already using HootSuite or a similar platform to manage your marketing website or landing pages and moving isn't an option. In either case, Webflow will be a tool used during the front-end development stage. However, you would need to host your website on Webflow in order to use the Webflow CMS.
Ask us by filling out our contact form. We are aware of every feature that the Webflow platform is capable of. Even while 99 percent of marketing sites can be developed with Webflow alone, many websites still require custom JS, API connectors, custom search, etc. We have the necessary resources and dev specialists on hand to construct any solution that best satisfies the requirements of our clients.
Yes, we just focus on high-end marketing websites, logos, and brand identities.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the design or the technique we used. We'll always be available to discuss the rationale behind our design choices or the particulars of your plan. We want you to have optimism and enthusiasm for your project. If something doesn't feel right, we'll work together to come up with a workable solution.
Yes, we are happy to make suggestions for changes without fully revamping your brand ID as long as we can work within certain brand parameters and use your present logo and brand identity.
We think so! You can flourish online with Webflow since it has all the features you need without the hassles associated with competing platforms. No need to update dozens of plugins. No low-cost drag-and-drop website creation. Only sites with clean code and quick page loads!
Your website will be optimized for SEO when we set it up in Webflow. Your pages will have all the required tags, OG pictures, etc., and we'll set up things like 301 redirects so, if you're migrating from your old site, no one ever sees a missing page from an old link. If the layout of your site changes on your new Webflow Project, 301 redirects will also let Google know where all that old material went. Along with making sure your site is optimized, we'll assist you in setting up Google Search Console and watch out for any strange crawlers. We'll also optimize for speed and apply a few teaks in Tag Manager to make things load quickly and please the search bots in order to enhance your Google Search rankings. We'll assist you with search engine optimization and migration if you're moving to a new domain to ensure that you suffer the fewest SERPS hits possible. In addition to site optimization, we can put you in touch with some excellent SEO copywriters if you need to create content for blog pages, for example, to raise your rankings and drive traffic.
Although there are many payment partners available, Webflow now only interfaces with Stripe and Paypal, which is certainly a little bit limited. However, these are best-in-class solutions and are worth checking out if you're unsure. Paypal has broader geographic coverage than Stripe, but if your location isn't included, Stripe does offer a nice service called Stripe Atlas where they'll register and set up a firm for you in the United States. For $500, they'll essentially take care of everything, and when it's all said and done, you'll have a US corporation registered. You can see where Paypal and Stripe support collecting payments here and here if you're unsure about either service.
